Topic: browsing the web with Windows 9x machines

You can easily browse the web on Windows 95/98. There are various options, but not all might work with a screen reader! So here are my recommendations.
1. Using the RetroZilla browser (that's a fork of old Firefox 2.x with TLS1.2 support).
2. Use a patched Netscape (latest version 9.0.0.6)
3. Put in a modern computer or a raspberry pi a proxy like WebOne, configure it in both machines and try to browse the web withh Internet Explorer 5 or Internet Explorer 6.

For Retrozilla or Netscape you will require an updated screen reader like Jaws 7.10 or a proper version of WindowEyes. Don't know if such version of WindowEyes work on Windows 95/NT, so that means that there would be difficulties browsing the web in 95 and you should choose Win98 instead.
There is the KernelEX for Windows 98/ME, but don't know still how far we could go with it. Someone managed to run Firefox 52.x (latest Firefox for XP) on Windows 98.

Window-Eyes 5.5 (2005) is the highest version that will run on Windows 95. It can be downloaded here

Will Firefox 2.x work with that version of WindowEyes? It don't work with jaws 6.20.
